Role Play Mixer
A social learning experience.
Sun, Feb 4, 2018 from 5pm - 8pm
Do you fantasize about a specific interaction - caught in the supply closet with the UPS delivery person, or being the pony pulling your sweetie in a cart - or about hooking up with that hot "stranger" in your favorite bar? If so, you're into role playing!
Role play scenarios will cover costuming and props, power dynamics, ways to spice up long-term relationships, and many others. Whether playing out a scene in your favorite movie, being cornered in the street, talking back to your boss and giving/receiving punishment, being waited on like a princess, or rewarded for being a good dog, everyone will have a chance to explore different roles, motivations, and characters.
This interactive class will cover topics including:
-Basic consent and negotiation
-How to find your core motivation
-How to convey your desires to your partner while keeping the scenario fluid and "in the moment"
-How to negotiate settings and scenarios to play out with your partner
Participants will have ample opportunities to interact with everyone in class. Everyone is expected to participate, and we will give strategies for safely and respectfully ending a conversation or scene that you're not comfortable with. Based on collaborative negotiation techniques, students will interact with each other to quickly establish scenes and fantasies, develop characters and backstories, and learn how to ensure each person's desires are being met.
Participants are encouraged to bring props, costumes, or accessories that help them get into a role, as well as ideas for different roles they want to play (or want their partner to play).
This class is designed for singles to meet other singles, but you don't need to be single to attend. This does not exclude couples or other partnered people. However, each person will interact with everyone else in class at least once. If you and your sweetie are into role playing, this class will supplement and enhance your communication skills and hopefully expand your repertoire for fun.
All sexes, genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, relationship orientations welcome and celebrated.

Whether teaching solo or with a group, her focus is on making sure everyone's needs are addressed, doing dangerous things well, and feeling good while doing them. Her dynamic and interactive teaching style incorporates multiple learning styles, ensuring that all students have a chance to be heard, participate, and get information specific to their interests.
Outside of teaching, Trouble leads a women's rope group and is the visual art manager for Seattle Erotic Art Festival.
She's called Trouble for a reason. Don't say we didn't warn you.
